1. Privacy at a glance
General information
This privacy policy describes the processing of personal data on the "AG Dog Care" website, when you contact us, and on our linked Instagram and Facebook profiles. Personal data means information relating to an identified or identifiable person. The sections below explain the purposes, legal bases and your rights
Who is responsible for collecting data?
The website operator is responsible for data processing on this website. Their contact details are provided in the ‘Data controller’ section of this privacy policy
How do we collect your data?
Some data is collected when you provide it to us, for example by email, telephone, WhatsApp or Telegram
Technical access data, such as browser, operating system and the time of a page request, is processed when the website is delivered. Optional Google Maps content is loaded only after your consent, including a valid choice saved from an earlier visit. Details are provided in the Google Maps section
What do we use your data for?
Some data is needed to keep the website working correctly. We also process data to respond to enquiries, arrange appointments and provide dog grooming services. Where contracts can be initiated through the website, the information you send is also processed for quotations or other service enquiries
What rights do you have?
You may request information about the origin, recipients and purposes of your stored personal data free of charge. You may also request its correction or deletion. If you have consented to data processing, you can withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. In certain circumstances, you may request restrictions on the processing of your personal data. You also have the right to complain to the competent supervisory authority
Please contact us if you wish to exercise these rights or have other privacy questions
2. Hosting
Hosting with Vercel
This website is delivered through Vercel. Technical access data is processed when you visit it, in particular your IP address, the requested page, access time, and browser and device information. This processing serves the website's delivery, stability and security
Providing and securing the website is based on our legitimate interest in a secure, stable and accessible online service under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Section 25(2)(2) TDDDG applies where strictly necessary technical information is stored on or read from your device for this purpose. The optional Google map is subject to the separate consent rules below
Provider: Vercel Inc. 440 N Barranca Avenue #4133 Covina, CA 91723 United States
Vercel uses international infrastructure, so data may be processed outside the European Union, particularly in the United States. Vercel publishes information about privacy, data processing arrangements and international transfers in its Privacy Notice and Data Processing Addendum
3. General information and your rights
Data protection
We take the protection of your personal data seriously. We treat it confidentially and in accordance with applicable data protection legislation and this privacy policy
Various personal data is processed when you use my online services. This policy explains what data we collect, why we use it, and how and for what purposes it is processed
Data transmission over the internet, for example by email, can have security vulnerabilities. Complete protection against access by third parties cannot be guaranteed
Data controller
The controller responsible for processing personal data on this website is: "AG Dog Care" Owner: Aleksandra Godovkina Kronwinkler Str. 27A 81245 München Germany Email: agdogcare@gmail.com
The controller is the natural or legal person who, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of processing personal data such as names and email addresses
Retention periods
Unless a more specific retention period is stated in this policy, we retain your personal data until the purpose of processing no longer applies. If you make a valid deletion request or withdraw your consent, your data will be deleted unless another lawful reason permits its retention, such as statutory tax or commercial record-keeping requirements. In that case, the data will be deleted once those grounds cease to apply
Legal bases for processing
Article 6(1)(b) GDPR applies to appointment and service enquiries and the performance of agreed services. Compliance with legal obligations, particularly required retention, is based on Article 6(1)(c) GDPR. Providing and securing the website and responding to general enquiries are based on our legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The optional Google map is based on your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR; Section 25(1) TDDDG also applies to consent-dependent access to your device. Consent can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future. Details are given in the relevant sections
Recipients of personal data
Recipients may include the hosting provider, communication services you choose and, once activated, Google Maps. Data is shared only where necessary for the relevant purpose and legally permitted. Where a provider processes data on our behalf, an agreement under Article 28 GDPR is required. Where several parties jointly determine the purposes and means of processing, Article 26 GDPR applies. The providers and their processing activities are explained below
Withdrawing consent
Many processing activities require your express consent. You can withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it
Right to object, including to direct marketing — Article 21 GDPR
If processing is based on Article 6(1)(e) or (f) GDPR, you may object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation. This also applies to profiling based on those provisions. The legal basis for each activity is stated in this policy. Following an objection, we will stop processing the personal data concerned unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing is needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims — Article 21(1) GDPR
If your personal data is processed for direct marketing, you may object at any time to its use for that purpose, including related profiling. Following an objection, your personal data will no longer be used for direct marketing — Article 21(2) GDPR
Right to complain to a supervisory authority
If the GDPR is infringed, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, particularly in the member state where you normally live, work or where the alleged infringement occurred. This right applies without prejudice to other administrative or judicial remedies
Competent supervisory authority: Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht (BayLDA) Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision
Data portability
You may request that data we process automatically on the basis of your consent or to perform a contract be provided to you or a third party in a commonly used, machine-readable format. Direct transfer to another controller will take place only where technically feasible
Access, rectification and erasure
Under applicable legislation, you may request information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients, and the purpose of processing, free of charge. Where applicable, you may request correction or deletion. Please contact us to exercise these rights or ask questions about personal data
Restriction of processing
You may request a restriction on the processing of your personal data. Please contact us to do so. This right applies in the following circumstances:
- If you dispute the accuracy of your personal data, processing may be restricted while we verify it
- If processing is or was unlawful, you may request restriction instead of deletion
- If we no longer need your data but you need it to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, you may request restriction instead of deletion
- If you have objected under Article 21(1) GDPR, processing may be restricted while it is determined whether your interests or ours take precedence
Once processing has been restricted, the data may, apart from storage, be processed only with your consent, to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, to protect the rights of another natural or legal person, or for reasons of important public interest of the European Union or a member state
SSL/TLS encryption
The public website uses SSL/TLS encryption to secure the connection and protect confidential transmissions. You can identify an encrypted connection by ‘https://’ in your browser's address bar and its security indicator
When SSL/TLS encryption is active, data transmitted through the connection is protected against being read by third parties in transit
Objection to unsolicited advertising emails
We object to the use of contact details published in the legally required imprint to send unsolicited advertising or information. We expressly reserve the right to take legal action against unsolicited advertising, including spam emails
4. Enquiries and online communication
Enquiries by email or telephone
If you contact us by email or telephone, we store and process your enquiry and the personal data it contains, such as your name and the content of the enquiry, to respond to you. We do not share this data without your consent unless another legal basis allows it
Processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry concerns a contract or steps before entering into one. Otherwise, it is based on our legitimate interest in responding effectively to enquiries under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, or your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR where requested. Consent can be withdrawn at any time
Information you send us remains with us until you request deletion, withdraw consent to its retention or the purpose of storage ends, for example after your enquiry has been resolved. Mandatory statutory retention requirements remain unaffected
WhatsApp and Telegram
If you contact us through WhatsApp or Telegram, we process the information you send, such as your profile name, contact details and message content, to respond to your enquiry. For users in the European Economic Area, WhatsApp is provided by WhatsApp Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland; Telegram is provided by Telegram Messenger Inc
Using these messengers is optional. You can contact us by email or telephone instead. These services also process data under their own privacy terms; your cookie-banner choice controls the embedded map on this website and does not replace privacy settings within a messenger
The use of these services is based on our legitimate interest in quick and efficient communication with customers under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, or Article 6(1)(b) GDPR if your enquiry concerns entering into a contract
WhatsApp processes account, connection and usage data under its own privacy terms and uses international infrastructure, including in the USA. International transfers are subject to Articles 44 et seq. GDPR. Its privacy policy for the European Economic Area, linked below, explains the processing and transfer mechanisms
For more information, see WhatsApp's privacy policy
Telegram stores ordinary cloud chats on its servers; these chats are not end-to-end encrypted by default. Telegram states that data for users in the European Economic Area is stored in data centres in the Netherlands. The provider is established outside the EEA; international transfers must meet applicable data protection requirements. Its privacy policy below provides details and contact information for its EU representative
For more information, see Telegram's privacy policy
Communication through social networks
If you contact us through a social network such as Instagram, we process your personal data to respond to your enquiry
Processing is based on our legitimate interest in communicating with customers under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR
Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. processes data when you use Instagram and Facebook under its own privacy terms. This may include technical data, usage information and interactions. See Meta's privacy policy for details
Instagram, Facebook and page statistics
I operate the Instagram and Facebook profiles linked on this website to provide information about my dog grooming services and communicate with prospective and existing customers
When you visit this profile, personal data is also processed by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland. This may include technical and usage data, interactions with the profile and communications
Meta provides Insights for professional profiles: aggregated statistics about their use and interactions. The reports available for my Instagram profile help me improve my services and content. These are not an analytics script on this website
Where page statistics involve joint controllership under Article 26 GDPR, Meta explains the allocation of responsibilities in its Page Insights Controller Addendum. In particular, Meta provides information about its processing and handles the corresponding data subject rights. You may also contact us with privacy requests; your rights against another controller remain unaffected
Processing is based on my legitimate interest in presenting and improving my services and communicating with prospective and existing customers under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. If an enquiry concerns entering into a contract, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR also applies
Further details are available in Meta's privacy policy
5. Google Maps
Purpose and provider
We use Google Maps in the Contact section to show the salon's location or neighbourhood and help you find your way. For users in the European Economic Area, the provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. The map is optional; you can arrange an appointment without using it
Loading only after consent
Without consent, no Google Maps iframe is embedded and this map feature does not connect to Google. You can select ‘Allow all’ in the ‘Cookies and privacy’ banner or enable Google Maps in Settings. ‘Necessary only’ keeps the map off. The button in the map placeholder opens these settings; clicking it does not itself give consent
Once you consent, the map is embedded automatically. It also loads automatically on later visits in the same browser while your saved choice remains valid. Continuing to browse, scrolling or dismissing a notice does not activate Google Maps
Data processing and cookies
When the map loads, Google receives your IP address, technical browser and device information, and information about opening and using the map. Google may use cookies or other storage technologies. If you are signed in to Google, it may be able to associate information with your account. Our website does not request access to your device's location through the browser
Google processes this data under its own privacy terms to provide the map service and potentially analyse its use. We do not have full control over Google's further processing or retention periods. See Google's privacy policy for details
Legal basis and international transfers
The map is embedded on the basis of your voluntary consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Section 25(1) TDDDG also applies where information is stored on or read from your device. Google may process data outside the European Union, particularly in the United States. International transfers are additionally subject to Articles 44 et seq. GDPR; consent to displaying the map does not replace those requirements. Google explains its transfer mechanisms in its information about data transfers
Withdrawing consent and changing your choice
You can withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future, using the hide-and-withdraw button on the map or in the footer. Disable Google Maps and save your choice, or select ‘Necessary only’. The iframe is removed and will not load automatically on later visits. Data already transmitted cannot be recalled this way; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing
Google profile and reviews
The reviews and overall rating displayed on this website are a manually imported snapshot from our Google profile. Displaying them does not connect to Google. Profile and review links are ordinary external links: you visit Google only when you open a link, and Google's privacy terms then apply to that visit
6. Cookies, browser storage and local features
Cookies and additional services
Cookies are small pieces of information a provider stores in your browser. Local Storage and Session Storage also store information on your device, although they are not traditional cookies. This website uses necessary browser storage for your privacy choice and language switching; after you consent, the optional Google map may also use cookies or similar technologies
We do not currently embed separate advertising or analytics cookies. Before any additional consent-dependent services are activated, their providers, purposes and retention periods will be described in this policy and the settings, and a separate choice will be offered. ‘Allow all’ applies only to optional services currently listed, not to unknown future services. Strictly necessary storage access falls under Section 25(2)(2) TDDDG; other consent-dependent access falls under Section 25(1) TDDDG
Saving your privacy choice
We save your decision locally in your browser under ‘ag-dog-care.map-consent.v1’. The entry contains whether you allow or decline Google Maps, the notice version, and the time and expiry of the choice. It remains valid for up to 180 days unless you change it or clear browser storage first. After expiry we ask again; without valid consent, the map stays off. The entry is not sent to us as a visitor identifier. If browser storage is blocked, your choice applies only to the current page session
This storage is used solely to apply and manage your privacy choice, not for advertising or usage analytics. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in reliable consent management. The necessary access to browser storage is governed by Section 25(2)(2) TDDDG
Language switching and price calculator
When you change languages, the website briefly saves your current place on the page in Session Storage under ‘lang-switch-position’, so you can return to the same point. The entry is removed after restoration and this storage ends with the browser session at the latest. It supports the navigation you request under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR and Section 25(2)(2) TDDDG. Price calculator answers remain in the open page's memory and are not sent by the website to a server. Only when you use the booking function are your selected details prepared for a message in the external booking channel
Fonts and external links
Font files are delivered with the website, so your browser does not need to connect to Google Fonts. We do not embed separate advertising trackers or analytics scripts; the Google Maps information above applies to that service. Links to WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram, Facebook and Google are external links, not embedded social media widgets. Opening a link takes you to the relevant provider
